Beverly Hills Playhouse: Speakers Series: Hosted by Robert Zimmerman

Robert Zimmerman interviews Producer, Jeffrey Allard, circa: 12-November-2014, 1700-1900 Hours PST, at the Beverly Hills Playhouse: San Francisco, CA.

One of the many benefits of being a student at the Beverly Hills Playhouse is students get to meet influential figures in the film, stage, and television industries: producers, directors, actors, and writers, through the Speaker Series.

Beverly Hills Playhouse is interested is preparing acting students to be working actors; and, Beverly Hills Playhouse accomplishes this goal by the following objectives:

1) Acting classes: students learn to act through a variety of disciplines that work on being director-proof.
2) Agent Showcases: top students needing agents get to perform their scenes in front of talent agents.
3) Speaker Series: influential figures in film, stage, and television industries come to Beverly Hills Playhouse to meet with students.

Last night, 12-November-2014, from 1700-1900, Robert Zimmerman invited well-know Los Angeles feature film Producer, Jeffrey Allard, to meet the students and provide some guidance in navigating through the film industry as an actor, producer, writer, and financier.

Jeffrey Allard produced many feature films and worked with A-Listers in the film industry.  One of the many films he produced was Texas Chainsaw Massacre, produced by Michael Bay.

Last night, Jeffrey Allard gave students several pieces of important information:

1) Learn the business of producing -- that way, the actor controls his destiny;
2) Casting personnel will get turned on or turned off to an actor when the actor first opens his mouth -- so, always be prepared when going to an audition.
3) Good business of the actor means repeat business for the actor; and,
4) Network, network, and network.
